The Kawa Cultural Centre offers its own independent structure to artists and art loving people. Located in a pictorial Indian village: Amber, the shelter of a historic fort, the Kawa Cultural Centre is easily reachable from Delhi (250 kms) or Jaipur (15 kms) by flight and by road. Built according to the traditional style of the Rajasthani architecture, the Kawa Cultural Centre evokes the exceptional and rich cultural heritage perpetuated till today, at the confluence of Vedic, Gypsy, Persian, Moghol and Britannic cultures, intermingling, strengthened by the nomadic life of the Thar Desert. The auditorium Whitewashed walls, a central wooden floor and a white quilted cotton fabric, tied to the ceiling render a perfect natural acoustic and a sober and refine space for this indoor room of 130 square meters. The outdoor area An outdoor area with a stage of 11 meters on 6 meters, surrounded by a garden and a lovely landscape is at the disposal of the artists for rehearsals and performances and the visitors for a cup of tea or coffee.
